+3The restaurant is very small, but extremely cozy and special! The food was fantastic, the meat with iron was also a sensation, in terms of taste and appearance! Owner and staff very accommodating, well worth a visit

Dissent but really overpriced food. Poor setting overall (summer-like chairs, one person serving customers and washing dishes in the same hall, etc.). No feeling that you’re welcomed in this restaurant

Very happy to have tried it, recommend it for any occasion, especially people who appreciate good fish and pulpo. The tournedos could have been better. But overall good experience

We went to Pierre Bois et Feu as two friends and had a very good dinner. The food was great and the service was very prompt and friendly. I would certainly suggest to anyone looking for a cosy dinner with good meat and wine.

Lovely little restaurant with lots of character. Very good service by charming waitress. Entrecôte cooked to perfection and the finishing touch at the table carried out by the chef with old fashioned irons was a treat. Lovely burgundy to wash it down with. Amuse bouche and frisndises were also a lovely touch. Highly recommend the restaurant but essential to book.

Fantastic meal. Fabulous foie gras and steak. Lovely dessert: marriage of crème brûlée and crème caramel. Attentive and friendly service. Couldn’t be faulted.

The food was very tasty, especially, the quality of beef was great. The staff was super welcoming and the service was superb. Everything is very good except for boss. He is deeply racist against Asians. He gave two Japanese guests the finger, when they are leaving. I am just really confused and cannot believe what I saw. Because two guests are friendly and did nothing at his restaurant. After that, he said " fils de pute de chinois". I feel really uncomfortable at the end of my diner. Briefly, the food is really good, but the boss dont't want to asian people come.

The food and the service are amazing. The meat is brought to the plate with passion and care. The service is both welcoming and pampering while being extremely professional. Highly recommended.

Everything in the restaurant was allright. Good food, freindly staff and a very good presentation of the food! Interesting location in the middle of Strasbourg!

We had the entrecôte and the magret de canard, which were both excellent. The steak is very rare, even with the searing technique, so I had to ask for mine to be cooked a bit longer. They took it back to the kitchen, no problem, and brought it back à point (medium). For dessert, the crème brûlée is light and delicious. My son loved the assortiment of 3 chocolate desserts. Wine by the glass from an Alsatian producer was disappointing (I tried the Riesling and the Pinot noir).

A bit overpriced

Although it's only a few yards from the Cathedral, the restaurant and surrounding area were quiet. The decoration is low-key but very pleasant. There was a well chosen menu and every dish was clearly prepared with thought and care, giving it a lift above the ordinary. It's not the cheapest option, but it was very good value for money. Well worth a visit.

Everything was really perfect! Best service, best quality of meat and vegetables. We really recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves meat!

The food is absolutely delicious and all the staf is great! We had an amazing evening! We totally recommend the place, the Michelin Guide recommendation is well deserved!

We had the 3 courses menu and everything was very good, especially the entrecôte!

Variety of dishes is good. Quality is good. Though entrecôte was too rare. I understand that’s how local people prefer to have it, however, I would recommend to ask visitors how they want meat to be cooked. There can be dieting and religious aspects of the way meat is coocked
