7/10Service hurried and uninformed. Food very good but not outstanding. We were not advised of all the offerings that we saw other patrons receiving, eg clams and sardines. The only seafood appetizer we were offered was cod cakes. Wanting seafood, this was disappointing.

5/10Very little atmosphere. TV screen with football on?! Harsh lighting. Anchovy starter for sharing was one tiny fillet from a tin.... Fish option was smothered in sauce and very bony. Other vegetables were heavily salted and all was luke warm. However, waiter was delightful and attentive.

10/10We had the best lunch at Canalha. The place is comfortable and casual. The service friendly. The food simple, good quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, generous servings and good value. I wish there were more places like this.

9/10Food: excellent simplicity with extraordinary produce. Simple and delicious food is the most difficult to execute, but here they excel. The bar seats are not too comfortable, stools without back rest, but who cares, you go there for the food, and definitely you should.
