Very warm welcome to match a lovely view of Lisbon and the Rio Tejo. A special mention to Richika who made us feel special and welcome. The lunch time meal was on a Monday when many restaurants are closed in Portugal so it was very welcome to know that this iconic establishment was open and waiting to feed us before we headed for the airport to end our holiday. The menu is straight forward in a positive way with a number of very tasty items. The wine list excellent and again, sensibly, not too long but well stocked. I enjoyed a Vinho Verde - Alvarinho grape (SpSanish: Albariño ) , My wife very generously gave me the seat with the wonderful view and we sat and simpy decompressed. So, the food well prepared, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service professional and attentive but not fussy! (Incidently Chapito is a social enterprise and the two Chapito a Mesa restaurants contribute funds to the famous charity supporting young people. Double satisfaction since I work in mental health!)

Poor service, poor ambiance - it was like a tavern - nothing like the pictures. The food was tasteless and overcooked. We’ve ordered the cod fish, it was like a rubber, awful!! Slow service, bad food with a poor ambiance

Food was excellent! Served hot and fresh. Patio was enclosed a bit probably to protect from wind and weather. A bit noisy but to be expected in a relatively small space. Fun and delicious over all.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience here this evening. Wait staff was excellent, as was the food. The view and the ambience were both wonderful. Mara (manager) made our evening unforgettable. She was engaging, funny and fun. Upon entering, we were wet from the rain and tired and grateful to get a table. We left energized and happy and so pleased to have this memory as part of our Lisbon adventure. Thank you! ✌️🇨🇦👍

This restaurant was excellent, the staff was really great, beautiful view of the city, the food was terrific. Beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Booked a table for an evening meal on the terrace. It was really very good. So good, in fact, that we went back there again for a wonderful lunch another day. Normally we never go to the same place twice whilst on holiday, but authentic, wonderfully tasty food took us back for a lunch of sangria, Portuguese Black Pork chorizo and local cheeses. We feasted a second time and left fully satisfied!
