The place was great, but I couldn't stand the Instagrammers. It was pretty pricey but nonetheless good. I am not sure it was over and above loads of other places we ate whilst in Lisbon and I think I could have done much better in booking somewhere for my husband's birthday, but it was a fun experience and the service and food were excellent - it was however so expensive and like I say I think other places we ate at, gave a better experience for the price,

The place is gorgeous! It has a perfect combination of classic and modern, really polished. And the bar downstairs is just really cool. The food was delicious. The chateaubriand was tender, juicy and tasty. I absolutely enjoyed the red curry prawns with basmati rice! Also, I didn’t find the portions to be small at all. They were a perfectly adequate size. The desserts were fantastic. The service was great: our server was really nice, attentive, and so was the sommelier. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes a more upscale ambiance, service and food, without it feeling pompous or pretentious.

JNcQUOI was every bit as picturesque as we expected and the food was solid. However, we felt that the overall service was lacking, especially from the sommelier (whom we had to ask for several times before he came to our table and who did not seem very interested once he did).

The food and ambience are fantastic despite the ridiculously small portions and high prices. The service was a bit clunky - the dessert explanations were far from comprehensive and the meunier sole was not served up to standards.

I’ve been a regular at JNcQUOI since 2019, and every visit reaffirms why it remains one of my favorite places in Lisbon. This time, I enjoyed a delightful lunch on the terrace, where the atmosphere perfectly blends cosmopolitan energy with elegant, refined charm. The service was, as always, impeccable — attentive, respectful, and highly professional. The Chateaubriand (around 500g, ideal for two) was beautifully cooked, tender, and full of flavor. What truly stands out is JNcQUOI’s remarkable consistency over the years, both in food quality and service. It’s a place that embodies sophistication and reliability, making every visit a pleasure.

Our service Lidia was super!!! We’re locals and come here often and never have been disappointed by the service. The quality of food is very good as well of course.

Food was average to poor depending on the dish. The jncquoi salad the lettuce was browning and limp. The shrimp in the shrimp curry were far too over cooked. The spinach with the seabass was over salted. While the ambience was nice the food was not up to par.

Have been here several times. Food is amazing always as are the friendly servers and a crushing experience. Don’t forget to see the lively downstairs bar and DJ area !

We had a table booked for 22:00h. We got seated at 22:14h. However the dessert was on the house due to the delay. Super nice gesture of the staff.
