10/10Our dinner at Cosy the Dutch Kitchenon Leidsekruisstraat Amsterdam was an absolute delight from start to finish. We chose the Taste of Holland set menu and genuinely satisfied with the decision. Its excellent value & offered an authentic journey through traditional Dutch cuisine with recipes lovingly passed down through the proprietors Mandys family. My starter the tasting board had Old Amsterdam cheese, bitterballen & other savoury nibbles. My main was stamppot ( creamy mashed potato with endive) with slaafink (meatloaf wrapped in bacon) served with a rich full flavour gravy & haricot beans wrapped in bacon. Dessert was stroopwafel, cinnamon ice cream and whipped cream which i really enjoyed. My guests had the roast salmon which was perfectly cooked-moist and juicy and homemade meatballs which were apparently very tasty and filling and the schnitzel which was cooked in butter. The service was impeccable warm, friendly & attentive. I highly recommend for quality, value & authenticity.

8.5/10Warm and inviting owner, friendly and attentive service. Well-prepared dishes, including Stamppot, Dutch comfort food. Modest wine list. Cosy has made its reputation on breakfast and brunch, but it has expanded to dinner service in recent months. Its focus, as its full name suggests, is the Dutch classics. Its location next to Blauwe Hollander and across from The Pantry put it in stiff competition, but it’s worth giving it s try.

7.5/10Many is amasingly nice and welcoming. The service is good and we set by the window, which gave it a sort of nice romantic feeling. That said the fish and chips was ok. The fish was good but we would like more than just 1 filet, the chips were frozen, which cut the fresh feeling. The Dutch plate, was OK althoug nothing fantastic. The bread was old and hard. Not all bad but we paid 22,5€ for 2 with a beer and an orange juice.
