9/10Good, old-fashioned Dutch food in reasonably sized and priced portions, cozy atmosphere, friendly, pleasant service. It was our first time dining there and we will be back.

8/10The restaurant was a welcome relief on a rainy day. The staff let us come to our reservation an hour early, when we were the only patrons for a while. The food (split pea soup and meatball and mashed potatoes mixed with sauerkraut) was hearty, down to earth, and tasty. The beer (made, I think, by the restaurant) was delicious. The service was fine, too.

10/10This place is lovely, the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. The bread is super fresh and the garlic butter is delicious. Bitterballen are not the usual ones but way better, and the mashed potatoes with greens and meat are great in each and every version. We will come back for sure!

7.5/10The restaurant is so tiny. We need to squeeze to get in our table. The food is very good which is traditional Dutch dishes.

10/10We dropped off our bags at the hotel and hot footed to this place. We were starving. We had booked and recommend that you do. The food was wonderful! We opted for the steak and mussels and nether dish disappointed. The wines were perfect for our dish and the young, friendly staff were a joy. So attentive. Do check it out it gets very busy.

8.5/10Lovely traditional restaurant. Small but busy and because of that had a good atmosphere. Staff were attentive and my food was good but my friends food was excellent they told me. Wish they had a soft close mechanism on the door as every time someone entered (a lot if you include the waitress serving outdoor tables), the door was left open and the cold air rushed in. So wear your jacket and enjoy the food and ambience.

10/10We enjoyed our meal in the Kop van Jut; we had stamppot, which was delicious, and bitterballs, which were very nice. The waiter was helpful and chatty, and the food arrived quickly. Good quality for a very reasonable price.

Feel special at Eetcafé Kop van Jut
The Kop van Jut opened her doors in the year 2000. They have a small enthusiastic team who will do their best to make you feel at home. Here you will experience the Dutch “gezelligheid”. You can eat in the restaurant downstairs or living room upstairs. They will surprise you by the good quality of the food for a reasonable price. Try one of the locally brewed beers or one of the famous “Jenevers” and feel welcome at Kop van Jut.
