Very interesting concept on the potential for rice to make great meals, especially for persons with gluten free requirements. Menu could offer also less sophisticated, more genuine and traditional options.

Every visit to Rome deserves a visit to the Risotteria, with the most fantastic risottos prepared from their own rice, grown in the Veneto region.

Food was tasty, but the experience of the restaurant not so nice. They asked people to wait in line even though they weren't full, staff acted stressed even though they were not close to full. Staff was shouting and stomping around in the restaurant. We waited a very long time to get to order and they didn't even serve us our drinks before they served us the risotto. Loud music playing and they only ofer risotto, just for anyone's information.

Ate here on our last night after 2 weeks visiting Italy. Wish we had come here earlier. The food quality and taste were excellent and as someone who can’t tolerate gluten I was thrilled that all the food was gluten free as well as their 3 house beers. Even bought some rice on the way out the door and will enjoy trying the recipes. Will definitely return!! Thank you for an incredible dinner

I have been traveling in Europe for over 5 weeks. I've had some really amazing experiences at many different restaurants. As someone with celiac disease, my first and most important consideration is safety. Risotteria Melotti Roma totally achieved that. However, I found the service to be less than ideal. My waiter was impatient when I took a little while making up my mind. He forgot to serve me my first course, but rectified that. Basically, I found the service to be brusk and unkind. At the end, he asked for a tip.

Great atmosphere, great food!

We went because we are celiac but the food was so delicious that really, everyone can enjoy the risotto. There were a lot of different choices and each of the ones we ordered were flavorful and not heavy. The appetizers were tasty. Service was prompt. The gluten free beers were delicious as well. We are looking forward to trying their location in NYC, which is a little closer to home.
