The place is about to be deactivated, but the building is gorgeous. The food is Ok, nice drinks. They have plenty of options for gin. The service is fine, too. Prices are a bit spicy, but expected for the zone.

The gin-based cocktails were very good. The tapas dishes we ordered were not memorable. The old building is charming, but perhaps we were there too early (19:00), as the dining area was empty and it felt slightly like a mall food court.

The service left much to be desired. During my week vacation, service in Lisbon was impeccable - this was the exception. The grandeur of the space itself warrants improved service wherein guests should not be left to feel ignored at best and an inconvenience at worst. Thankfully the architecture and ambience of the space, design that exudes distinction, mitigated the disappointment of the service. Perhaps the three servers are in training - novices who will improve over time.

Dived into this building during a very rainy day in Lisbon for the shopping, spotted the bar and came back for dinner that evening. We were not disappointed... from the minute we arrived, the service was attentive without being too much, the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the gins with good recommendations and the food was delicious. If it hadn't been our last night in Lisbon, I think we would have gone back!
