7.5/10Starters were great. You variation of paella is completely strange. It’s like starters are well prepared, but then nobody had time to think about main courses. Traditional cod was also not anything tasty… I wound not visit that restaurant again.

8/10Not very warm welcoming staff like I’m used in Portugual. Octopus salad great but fried fish couldn’t finish it as it was way too salty.

10/10This was our fave restaurant experience of Portugal vacation. I messed up the date and time for our reservation and Inis was able to fit us in later at 10:15 pm. She was also our server and delivered amazing and attentive service. The food was phenomenal and loved it all. Faves were the Tuna tar tar , the seafood rice , and garlic shrimp. Wow.

7.5/10The bread with tomato comes with cold tomato puree on top, so the bread is not crispy anymore… ( not like bruschetta), the egg in the tomato soup wasn’t cooked enough, the octopus salad had a bit to much vinegar …

7.5/10We tried three different starters, and all were disappointing. The food is okay, but for the price and considering that it is in Lisbon (high standards everywhere), I can't rate this restaurant more than 7.5 .

7/10It’s a bit strange to come early on a Saturday night with a reservation, and be forced to wait when there is open seating at the bar. For context another solo dinner with a reservation at the same time as me came in about 8 minutes after me and was promptly seated at one of those same open spots and served promptly. The food is well done and accurately described on the menu. The service could be a lot better and everyone should be treated the same.

10/10Lisbon offers many many food choices. It seems as you can’t go wrong with some of the top restaurants in and around the Barrio Alto area. (Which there are many) I believe Tapisco rises above, offering amazing food, incredible service all at an extremely approachable price. Tapisco offers a lunch service, so if you can get a dinner reservation (which can be very challenging) the lunch options is a great option to not miss this amazing restaurant. Tapisco is in a small space and does not have a “fancy” Michelin star attitude. Instead, it lets the amazing food, attention to detail and attentive service do its talking. 5 out of 5 and be sure to order the Bomba de Lisboa. You’ll never think of a ham croquette the same way ever again.
