2.5/10We planned this night a while back and we wish we had not. Maybe Michelin has not been helpful. Definitely hurt our experience in the city.

6.5/10price of wine by the glass a ripp off, waiter kept pouring water in our glasses without asking if we wanted more, pré-starter and starter (risotto) excellent, main courses disappointing (very strong tasting fish) and too dry slow cookies lamb, excellent deserts. expensive for what it is. not a mémorable meal.

6.5/10Let’s start off with that we are Traveling all over Europe and have been to multiple Michelin star restaurants during this trip including Le Tallevant Paris, Blue Bay Monaco, and II Palagio Florence. The ambiance: 10/10 The Hotel does most of the work however the restaurant cool tones and touch match the hotel. Lighting is excellent. Seats are extremely comfortable. Service 3/10 My Wife is Pregnant and needs seafood to be fully cooked and Cheeses to be pasteurized. The waiter seemed completely annoyed that he had to notify the Chef to make the accommodation. I even notified the restaurant well in advance of this when I made the reservation a month ago. The other restaurants had no issue with the accommodation and even congratulated my wife. Food 5/10 The Food was well prepared. However flavors were underwhelming. Considering it’s 195 euro per person we were expecting much more. - Finally the dinner service took 3.5 hours. We were the first Table and almost the last to leave.

6.5/10Went to the restaurant with my husband for our second anniversary. The setting was very beautiful. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was not on par with restaurants we have previously been to with similar distinction.

5.5/10I had preordered a cake for birthday celebration in advance. They didn’t bring it or know about it. All other tables received theirs around us which made it even more terrible experience. For a “Michelin” rated restaurant it was below average and terrible coordination and service

10/10The most incredible evening in the most stunning of settings. Never been so full from a tasting menu and the wine pairing was lovely. The staff were so warm and friendly.

9.5/10The food was exceptionally creative, varied and tasteful. Each dish had a subtle blend of unusual, yet flavorful combinations. Presentation was impeccable, as was the service. A highlight was several surprise tastes, in addition to the usual amuse bouche. The wine steward helped with suggestions for two glasses of excellent red wine.

7/10Service and ambience is incredible and very elegant. The food was good, not great. We enjoyed it and the options for non alcoholic beverages were fantastic. But for the price and hype it was not worthwhile. It may be indicative of 1 Michelin star restaurants generally. We will definitely return for drinks in the future at the bar at the hotel, but unlikely to return for the food.

10/10We had an exceptional meal, in part, because of the incredible service from Giulia. We highly recommend dining here if you are looking for a spectacular evening.

7.5/10We had a great evening. The service was impeccable. However, the food was far too hit and miss. We only liked half the dishes. Far too much mixing of sweet and savoury, seemingly just for the sake of being different. Also, the main course was the smallest we’ve ever had, and we’ve been to over 100 Michelin restaurants.

7/10Being inside Four Seasons Hotel, the renovation is impeccable - worth a shot of the camera in nearly every angle. We took a 5-course set menu. The appetisers and deserts were tasty, though the main courses were a bit salty for my taste. We got an undercooked lobster appetizer which was quite tasty, but the one for my wife was undercooked and tasted bad. The restaurant was willing to serve the dish once again for both of us, which was good, though the waiter somehow kept arguing with us that the lobster wasn’t undercooked, which was totally unnecessary, especially given the pricy menu, and hence the deduction in service score.

10/10Best dining experience of our lives so far. We came here to celebrate a special occation and the service during our visit really made the night feel special. We opted for the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing and every dish and paired wine was excellent.

5.5/10This restaurant needs a refresh It’s decor is heavy old and dated! The service was confusing with handoffs to so many staff that you lost track. The Chef came out to meet us and this was the highlight of our night. The wine pairings were mediocre and inexpensive at best and not in keeping with a Michelin star restaurant They need to feature more wines from their local producers. The beet dishes were excellent as was the pumpkin scallop.

9/10Definitely worse going, perfect experience in the hotel. Luxury decor and smooth comfortable service. We took the 190euro tasting menu, the first half is extraordinary but the second half become a bit too salty Anyway it is very worth going and no one would forget the experience

10/10We booked Il Palagio to experience a michelin starred restaurant. il Palagio’s chef, kitchen and service staff deserved their 2023 ranking. The tasting menu ‘L’incontro’ that we got through the Fork was a taste discovery and elevates your palate. After 4 days of dining in traditional tuscan food and heavenly pasta/pizza in Florence, our dining experience at il Palagio evoke surprises and excitement. From the breadsticks one made traditionally and another made from charcoal was fun and curious. The grilled lobster with hazelnuts appetizer was exquisite and a real opening salvo. Our party of 3 ate this dish in less than 10secs. The risotto with “puffarelo di magi’ blue cheese with strawberry, grape, pomace and lime sauce was outworldly and so was the livornese cockerel agnolotti in cacciatora sauce. And the main dish of cassentino lamb from fracassi selection over sheep milk’s ricotta was a show stopper with the lamb meat meltimg in your mouth over that savory ricotta and pollen sauce combo. The meal ended with us getting a few more dolci. The servers of Il Palagio aside from the superb cooking made this dinner very memorable and exciting. The Four Seasons hotel where Il Palagio is housed extolled both the hotel and the restaurant. Our dining experience at Il Palagio gave us a new taste for innovation and excellence as our family continue with our food journey in Italy. Como here we come. Thank you Il Palagio
