7/10The pasta dishes were good. We ordered sauteed spinach that we couldn't eat, it tasted bad. The chicken with cognac cream sausage mushrooms was just okay. Wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping for. House red wine was good. Service was good.

8/10We enjoyed having dinner at mamma Gina! We ordered fried lampredotto, friend zucchini’s flowers and two second course s with two glasses of chianti wine. The atmosphere was great, nice service as well! Well done!

The staff were friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the portions were quite small and not very filling. We expected a bit more in terms of quantity for the price.

10/10Great restaurant and amazing staff, we had dinner there and plates were absolutely delicious, it was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed everything. I strongly recommend this restaurant. We will repeat another time before we leave Florence.

9.5/10Had previously been to the two Mama Gina Restaurants in S. California and always wanted to get to the original - crossed off my bucket list. Food was great as always just missed the seafood we used to get in Newport Beach!

10/10Each time I come to Florence eat at Mama Gina’s. They welcome you warmly, the food is always good and the service is always good. It’s not super fancy and it’s not super casual so you can go in there and be comfortable after marching around the city for the day. I highly recommend it.

10/10We came here for dinner on a Sunday night. Our family of 4 had an amazing meal. The beef carpaccio was excellent as was everything else. The service was great and the staff were wonderful. We really appreciated their patience with our 3 1/2 year old son .

9.5/10I was here 25 years ago and it was as amazing now as it was then. Be sure to as for the fried zucchini blossoms if you’re here in summer. We had the fried rabbit which was fantastic as was the tagliatelle with wild boar. Don’t miss this. After dinner walk to the Piazza di Michelangelo for a beautiful sunset view of the city.
