5/10we made resrvation a week befor arriving however they didnt find it and set our table at the entrance where the door opened and it was windi for us.The waiter forgot what we told him and served us the dishes not as it was reqwested.The food tasted average.The whole atmoshphere was like nobody cared if we are havig a good time

6/10The booking was made about one month in advance. The table was assigned at the corner of back room, without windows. The service took long to realize that we were there. The food was just disappointing. The place lives around the shadow of its great past.

7.5/10Our waiter was good but didn't understand that I wanted to order the 1-kilo steak, he kept saying No, that is for two people. We had been to this restaurant before and I had ordered the 1 kilo steak the last time. Not sure why he would not let me order it, instead I had to order the smaller steak. The food was delicious, but disappointed that I could not orderthe larger steak.

10/10This was a hidden gem of a restaurant that we were so glad to get a table. Just off the river in Florence it was on a small street within walking distance from many local hotels. The ambience was white tablecloths and polished silver and sparking glassware. Our server was attentive and our entire dinner was excellent. Would highly recommend this for couples or small groups wanting an intimate and cozy dinner. Once you see their front window you know you are in for a special treat. Definitely qualifies for a repeat visit.

10/10Mamma Gina restaurant was excellent the food was outstanding service attentive but not overwhelming and no rush ... the Florence fillet steak was absolutely amazing would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Florence.

5.5/10Food was okay, not bad but definitely could have been better in my opinion, idk the bread we were given didn’t come with any oil or salt, the mamma pasta was good I felt the pasta was a bit stiff my other half got the ravioli with the cherry tomato sauce it was good but nothing spectacular we didn’t have a huge meal maybe we would have been more impressed with main courses, staff was very friendly but we wouldn’t go back and was a bit disappointed

9.5/10Visited Mamma Gina on my first trip to Florence in 1985 and have been back many times. Two blocks from the Ponte Vecchio, it tends to attract more locals than tourists.
