We were a party of six and said to the waiter that we might be seven… he said he can’t change the seating or table in a very cheeky way, he was very impatient with us during all the evening, we felt very uncomfortable. We waited a long time for the food, about 45 minutes and the food was not served in a nice or tempting way on the plate. We were very disappointed. I felt very bad because I had made the reservation for friends and I felt responsible.

We were offered water. We thought it was free, like in many other establishments. As a result, we paid 3 euros for the water. The carbonara was tasteless, the bacon was overcooked. I strongly advise against the place.

Regarding the water, we would like to clarify that, like in most restaurants in Italy, it is not complimentary. We always ask our guests if they would like still or sparkling water at the beginning of the meal, and the price is clearly listed on our menu. As for our carbonara, it’s one of our most appreciated dishes, prepared with great care using fresh eggs from free-range hens and traditional guanciale, made crispy on purpose to enhance the texture and flavor of the dish. We’re sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. Our goal is to offer an authentic Roman experience, and while we know taste is subjective, we always welcome constructive feedback — especially when given in person, where we have a chance to improve the guest’s experience on the spot.
