Everything, and I mean everything, about my dining experience was incredible, start to finish. Seldom, if ever, I might return to the same restaurant two days in a row. Guess what? I’m going back to Joelia tomorrow for another amazing dining experience.

We went there for our wedding anniversary. The waiter confirmed our dietary requests, of which I said no red meat. This was the same request I placed in the online booking and confirmed via phone when they called the day before our reservation. Each course tasted as though it was a different fish/meat served in the same brown sauce. One of the courses, they served me calve. I had to explain to them I requested no red meat. 20 minutes later I was served my course. Very disappointing experience, considering the price we paid. We have eaten at other Michelin star rated restaurants in Rotterdam where I've made the same request. No one ever got it wrong.

A haven for foodies with a very good wine list to choose from. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great to have a sommelier who was so knowledgeable. A great way to spend an evening!

We were nicely welcomed in the restaurant which is cosy inside though from the outside doesn’t appear so. The personnel was friendly and running a lot. They could me more attentive in some cases since for example we had to ask for more water rather them asking us. The food though was excellent, very tasteful and nicely presented.
