A very enjoyable restaurant. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Great way to spend our last evening in Sicily.

My wife and I dined at the restaurant on Valentines Day, which also happens to be her birthday. We loved it! It has plenty of character, including exposed beams. Karla started with the Carciofi Ammuddicati, an artichoke dish. And I had a dozen raw oysters. Both appetizers were delicious. Her entree was Filetto Di Branzino Alle Erne, sea bass breaded with herbs. And I chose the Tagliolini All’Astice, lobster and pasta with cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil, parsley and extra virgin oil. Both dishes were beautifully presented and scrumptious! We finished with Tiramisu, which is one of our favorites. We definitely will go back again and highly appreciated the pleasant and attentive staff as well as food and ambiance!

Wonderful New Years Day Dinner to celebrate our Matriarchs 80th birthday and the New Year. Dinner was perfect and service was just as great. All the staff were so warm and accommodating. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and with sophistication for the Holidays. A wonderful memory for our family. Thank you.

We were given a lovely table inside and noted some great food selections. The came out with an amuse bouche of arancini balls, which sadly I couldn’t eat due to food restrictions with dairy. I had not complained but just gave my dinner companion my arancini. Quietly, they popped by with a little treat of roasted veggies so I would also have something. It was that kind of care and attention to detail we experienced for our full time there. Delicious and lovely. I highly recommend. Do make a reservation though. They filled right up.

Everything about this restaurant was spot on. If there weren't so many others to try on our vacation we would definitely go back for seconds.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and service is good. We had the orange and fennel salad. It was pretty good, but the orange had tough pith and was not enjoyable to eat. The pasta with clams lacked flavor and the pasta with red shrimp had very little shrimp and also needed extra seasoning. The bread they brought to the table was tough, tasteless and inedible. I swallowed that bite, but would have spit it out if I were at home. I noticed that all customers were English speaking and am not surprised that there were not locals dining there. I hope to find that for our next dinner here.

gorgeous family run Osteria down a small lane in the beautiful island of Ortigia . We had the most hearty true Sicilian meal made with love and plenty of flavour would definitely recommend .

We visited on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. We ate outside in the garden area, it was a lovely evening. Food was excellent, we had a tomato pasta dish and a snapper fillet accompanied by a lovely local red wine. Ambience was great, service great, food great - would definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend.

The food was outstanding...if I'd had more time, I would have gone back. The orange and fennel salad had so much flavor, and you totally could taste the sea in the pasta with clams and gamberoni, with pistachios. And the fresh cannolo just perfected the evening. The people are very welcoming. and It's totally a family labor of love. Check out the hand-crafted presepi on the walls. The artist added so many tiny details and even moving parts. She explained a bit how she made them and her son waited on my table.
