My 2nd visit to the family-run restaurant since last one in January - a foodie from Toronto Canada . Food is amazing. Grilled sea bream, grilled octopus, risotto…I can’t say they’re the best, but I can say it’s hard to find something better when you pay 50% more at a star-granted eatery.

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. It was our second visit and we will be happy to return. They hadn’t received our booking via the Fork app but we could be accommodated anyway. Fish is the mainstay and is well done

This is such a gem! A lively neighborhood restaurant where people are enjoying great food and having a good time. We loved the food so much that we came back a second time (with 3 days in Siracusa). Everyone is using the delicious bread to sop up the last bits of the outstanding sauces. The seafood is so very fresh and expertly prepared. The staff is family and they spread their joy to their guests.

Recommended by our Air Bnb hosts this place was a great find. Excellent food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere. Very popular so reservations recommended. We loved everything- pasta, seafood, pistachio parfait and wine. great value too.

We had an amazing experience and a lovely dinner at La Tavernetta da Piero. The place was nice, the waiter that attended us was sympatic and aware of the details and of our needs. The products were fresh, well prepared and the flavours were all there. The portions were generous, we were two and shared a plate of pasta and a plate of fish. As we said on the beggining that the plates were to share, they served the portion divided in one plate for each and it was a great quantity of food. The quality-price relation is good for the served food (ok, it's a bit expensive but it is justified for all the service presented). I recommend this place when visiting Ortigia!

Very good food and service. I had the sea bass with lemon sauce and it was delicious. The cypress salad was good but the tomatoes were not very ripe or sweet. The mozzarella, however, was very good. It was a very enjoyable meal. Reservations are necessary.

After the confusion with which of the 2 restaurants we were booked into so it might be an idea when you book with the fork someone from the restaurant should indicate which one instead of getting loads of shrugs from the waiters and a lot of Italian hand gestures from a person sitting at a table by the bar who I presume was the owner. It was very busy in our restaurant when we were seated so no time for “Would you like water for the table naturalie or fritzanti” However we cheered the waiters up and made them smile and we had a laugh. Food was excellent fish was the freshest we had had in Ortigia so far. And the price was reasonable too
