10/10We were lucky to be seated right at the prep counter on the 2nd floor. We were up and close to witness the artwork and precision the chef put into every dish. I could tell that they are very proud in their work and care deeply of their food presentation and tase to their customers. The service was excellent as well. Overall, it is an amazing experience.

10/10The entire experience was amazing! We were warmly welcomed and had seats with a view of the kitchen and amazing views of the street and cathedral. There was a letter sealed with a stamp that had information about the starting course and wine information. We chose rhe 7 course plan and the food was simply fantastic! The staff were attentive and took excellent care of us. We enjoyed every moment

+3First impression, the staff was courteous and bubbly. It was my first time at a Michelin Star restaurant, so even though some of the dishes were outside my normal taste, it was an excellent experience! It was my first time having caviar, and even though my brain screamed it's going to be gross, my tongue said the opposite! It was the potato purée or maybe it was mash? with smoked eel and caviar was my absolute favorite! The sommolier (at least I'm assuming it was him) was especially engaging and a pleasure to talk to, but that doesn't lessen how nice the rest of the staff was. Even though English isn't their first language they tried extremely hard to ensure we understood each dish. Bravo and thank you!

10/10Fantastic restaurant in a charming building in the centre of Strasbourg. The menu concept is 7, 9 or 11 course tasting menus. I went for the 11 courses, and every single one was delicious, beautifully presented and made from the finest ingredients. I would give the food 6 stars if I could. Wine pairings are excellent and good value. Service is very attentive, friendly and professional. Staff go out of their way to ensure guests have an excellent experience. I was seated on the top floor with a full view of the kitchen, which in my opinion is the best seat in the house. After many visits to 1741 I can, without hesitation, give this restaurant my very best recommendation.

10/10This meal, which we enjoyed on Easter Sunday, was perfection from start to finish. We sat at a table by the window which was incredibly lovely. Every dish was beautiful, creative and absolutely delicious, and my husband rated it as the best meal he's ever had in all of France (and we've traveled to France many times). The wine pairings were equally superb, while the staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you to the Chef and staff for a memorable and wonderful dining experience.
