What a great restaurant in the heart of Matera. We started with a lovely tomato bruschetta and I then had the tagliatelle with a ragù sauce which was delicious. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her melanzane parmigiana. The chocolate and coconut ice cream and tiramisu were also delicious. A lovely meal and a glass of local wine red wine. Excellent service too and very welcoming. Can definitely recommend Le Botteghe,

Very nice restaurant situated in the lower part of Matera. Has inside and outside seating. No problems using the Fork. Very tasty and good calamari fritti.

6/10We arrived at 7:00, with no other patrons present, and di not stay. the menu was in plastic and sticky. limited choices, no vegetables. no music. not a good vibe

Buonasera, quella di non mettere musica é una scelta(tanta gente apprezza l’autenticità del posto dove ci troviamo), i menù sono in cuoio, le pietanze offerte sono più di 100 (di cui almeno una trentina vegetariani!!!) Ah …..inoltre anche stasera il locale era pieno e tanta gente non è riuscita a sedersi! Per fortuna a più di qualcuno piace il prodotto che offriamo 😎😎

8.5/10Everything was fine. Food and service. At the end a heavy rain fell what was a little annoying but don’t spoild the experience.

5/10All fine at 1st then a coach of tourists came in our service was slightly delayed, however, more importantly it was poor. The veal was tough and chewy, caprese was tasteless. The Scofglia pasta also lacked taste. Would not recommend.
