Incredible food. For a coeliac I was in heaven eating pizza, bruschetta and pasta. All home made and if a very high quality. Felt like I was eating the real thing. Bravo.

Amazing pizza, so tasty. All the food was great & so nice to be able to order anything & no worry. My husband, who isn't coeliac, said it was an amazing pizza also! So good we returned for a 2nd dinner!

My wife is allergic to gluten and this was a great last minute choice. As someone who can eat gluten the pasta and bread was still great and I would have not known the difference, which is not always the case with gluten free. The food and service were excellent. The waiter was very helpful and even booked us a taxi back to our hotel. We would definitely recommend.

This excellent little neighbourhood restaurant, only a short walk from the top of the Sasso Barisano area, is a delight; both for people with gluten allergies and for those with no dietary restrictions. The proprietor, who also does the front of house table service, is very knowledgeable about local food and wine specialties and gave excellent recommendations. He takes a quiet and very justifiable pride in his establishment and made us feel very welcome. Local families eating here and coming in to order the takeaway pizzas signaled that this restaurant is well-regarded. We tried the evening degustation menu. It was wonderful to try gluten-free versions of local specialty dishes; something I'm seldom able to do. This is food prepared and served with love. I still dream about eating the divine peperoni cruschi! Highly recommended and value for money. My husband and I would absolutely return here, any time!

One in our party is gluten free so we choose this restaurant for our last night in Matera. The food quality was excellent and beautifully presented. From pizzas and appetizers to pasta and main courses, everything was creative and delicious. You could tell our host took pride in the food he was presenting. Service was fast, friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy.. Location is an easy walk from town center. Highly recommended!

Fabulous meal with gluten free foods that rival their ‘normal’ counterparts and include local dishes. Friendly waitstaff who spoke very good English. Wide selection of gluten free beers, and breads to take away.

Loved being able to relax and enjoy a meal without worrying about being glutened. It was easy to find and the service was very good. The food was gorgeous. My only compliant was that the decor was too utilitarian and clinical; the restaurant needed a warmer ambience. However, this was a minor annoyance to an otherwise lovely find.

An absolute surprise ( positive ). If existing, gluten free choice in regular restaurant is more an afterthought of lesser quality food than “normal “ choices. Here so much effort, experiment and passion was given so one doesn’t feel eating alternative versions of “normal “ food but genuinely good food.

It was a joy to be able to eat pasta and pizza. The quality of both my dishes was excellent. There is a big choice, especially pizzas. Even my friend who is not gf really enjoyed her dinner. The bread it must be said is exceptional. Highly recommended.
