Tha pasta with the truffle was extremely good. I did not like any of the appetizers. I have chosen cheesecake for the desert which was anything else but a cheesecake. Overall, only the main courses were really excellent.

The restaurant was beautiful & captured the cave dining experience subtly with elegance, we were greeted in a friendly manner & encouraged to have drinks on the terrace first. The view was breathtaking & will stay with me for a long time! The food was delicious & the advise given for the wine was excellent & helpful. I had lamb with liquorice was a delight.I was very happy with my choice to celebrate my birthday 🎈

It's a great restaurant with a beautiful view of Matera. The food was good, an extra point goes to the appetizers. However, the deserts can be improved. My tiramisu was just a bunch of whipped cream with a tiny cookie at the bottom, like the other one we ordered. The service is ok, but a bit more attention to detail would make it a better experience given that this restaurant is recommended by Michelin.

The view is spectacular and the food was ok. We sit on a table upper than the others and we had an ashtray on it, and as smockers, we had a cigarette and the waitress was very rude saying we should stop smoking because the smoking area is somewhere else, and we asked for a reason why we should stop smoking, does anyone complain or what? We were on a rooftop, and she said very rude that “it’s the common sense” and she basically ruined our dinner. I suggest you should treat your clients right, and don’t put an ashtray if you don’t want clients to smoke, or at least don’t be rude to them. Thanks

I made a reservation here with hopes of having a beautiful view with a delicious meal however it was deemed too warm to sit outside. Luckily the indoor dining room was also beautiful and they setup a lovely table near open windows for us to enjoy some fresh air. We basically had the place to ourselves and so we had extra attentive service. We opted each for a few courses and they did not disappoint…the pasta with truffles was perfect for me followed by the pork. We loved the bread and olive oil service to start as well. We were all so full that we got one tiramisu to share and that was fine, because it was just ok. The host was kind enough to bring us up to the upper terrace so we could still get those great views and it was very much appreciated!

This restaurant had an elegant style. Although we had a reservation, there seemed to be some confusion. However, we were seated promptly although at first the staff was not warm and welcoming as would be expected in a restaurant of this caliber. The service itself was good though once seated. The meal itself was wonderfully plated and was good. There is no view from this restaurant but it was on a quite street near the duomo which had a stupendous view. In short, it is a romantic setting for a special event.

Sadly this restaurant was not as expected and I encourage diners to strictly avoid. It was akin to torture than a gastronomic event. Saddening given since of the reviews. I do understand the management had recently changed so maybe that’s the issue. It was a car crash.
