We arrived @7:45 for 8:00 reservation. They made us wait outside. When we got seated the rush was on. It wasn’t 10 minutes in that the server/ owner insisted on us ordering our appetizers, wine and main course. They charged $5 for bread and the appetizer was brought out in a few minutes and then our meals followed almost immediately after. Our dinners arrived cold and had to go back for reheat. My dinner came back still not hot. Our server who I think was the owner was so rude beyond belief. The restrooms had no hand towels to dry your hands after washing and I mentioned it to him and he totally ignored me. The tables surrounding us were all treated poorly. When the bill came there was a erroneous charge for $19.00 called table charge. I demanded he remove it and he did. When I brought to the diners next to us there bill all had it. It was clear this was a rip off and tried to sneak it thru. When we were ready to leave @ 10 PM my wife went to use the restroom and then rushed out. Bad!!

We had a great night and a really lovely dinner at LETTERA Trattoria. The service provided by Rafael was fantastic and the food which included appetizers as well as dinners were all wonderful. The wine list was great. We enjoyed both red and white wines, and the 10 of us went away extremely happy that we chose to have dinner here. The prices were very reasonable! Highly recommend.

Ordered lasagna. It was more like nachos with meat and cheese. Very strange! When I asked if this was the correct dish they said it’s a modern lasagna. Not what I expected!

I found the restaurant on trip advisor as I was looking for somewhere special to celebrate my mom's birthday while in Madrid. The food was ok and others enjoyed it more than I did. The hostess was very rude and dismissive and I almost wanted to remind her what her job is. Also even though I had a reservation, after our meal was done we were told that another couple was waiting and we had to leave. We were there for 1.5 hours which is half of the standard time of a Spanish dinner. This was utterly rude and disgusting. I don't recommend this place.

While highly rated on Trip Advisor, unfortunately it failed to live up to expectations. The servers were non-plussed about our presence, showing neither excitement nor disdain, we seemed to be an afterthought. Unfortunately, the food was about the same. We enjoyed the parm wheel presentation, in that it was interesting to observe, though the preparer never spoke to us. The pasta was fine, good enough but not memorable. The wine was the same, as was the ambiance. Overall, it was an acceptable meal with fair service… nothing was late or cold, but those are the only compliments.

The restaurant is nice, but is small and there is a lot of noise inside. Also, the waters were really rude: they were taking the order, we started with the drinks, we asked for an extra glass for the water, they left and didn't came back: neither with the glass or to finish taking our order; we had to ask someone else to help- the new waiter just purred rater over an orange juice. Also, there was a bigger table, with 6-7 people and they made so much noise that we could not hear each other.

Was great Chef came out made a meal off- menu for my son Maximo. He loved it. Best meal in Spain he said 6 days in will be back when we come back! Cheers
