We so enjoyed dining at the Moscati. The bilingual waitstaff was friendly and helpful to us jet-lagged Michiganders. The pasta Amatriciana, Greek salad, gelato, and wine were scrumptious! Just to focus on a couple things, the gelato was 3 kinds of our choice. Pistacio, hazelnut, and watermelon. Each tasted exactly as their name would suggest plus was creamy and delicious. The Amatriciana tasted just as it should, with bits of crispy smoked pork, peccorino Romano cheese, and San Marzano tomatoes. There is a cozy quality about the Moscati that we find so appealing.

Great and quiet place. The food is excellent. Will recommend for anyone. It is a little bit pricy, but it is worth for the taste and the service. I am sorry I could not tape the waiter because it was too late, it was not added to the bill as in the US

This was my second visit. The first was the worst and my server was there but occupied and luckily I was serviced by another and he was much much better. This time I ordered a steak and dessert. The steak was good however they failed to give me a steak knife and assumed I could cut it with the butter knife. After a lot of sawing, I managed to cut through the the steak. The steak was cooked well. I took a picture for you to see. The tiramisu dessert is very much a classic and this property holds close to the original recipe using marscapone combined with an egg custard. The coffee soaked savoiardi were just right and not overly sweet. I am glad to give this restaurant a higher rating but the service still falls short.

Obviously this is more of a hotel restaurant rather than a gourmet dining experience. The food was presented nicely however the ingredients left much to be desired. Instead of using ripe tomatoes which are in season during the summer months, the restaurant chose to use a green one which had a negative effect in the dish. I tried one of their signature pasta dishes and the pasta was not Al dente which is the norm especially for boxed pasta. If the pasta were casarecce, the dish would have been fantastic. Also, the dish arrived cold meaning it was sitting awaiting pickup service from the kitchen staff for awhile. This is disappointing since there were only three other diners in the restaurant at this time. Selection of beverage options is limited. Only theee beers to choose from and no microbrews.
