The food and the service at Nunu were very good. We liked our summer rolls, pho and noodles with egg rolls and beef (sorry, don't remember what it was in Vietnamese). My only objection was that they require you to view the menu on your phone and the layout for how it displays is tiny. My wife and spent several minutes squinting into our phones when we should have been reading a regular menu. It also encourages you to look at your smartphone when out to dinner, which degrades the dining experience. So, a good place to get Vietnamese food in Rome - but spend the extra $50 to reprint your menus when you change the prices so we can enjoy our meal from the get-go.

An outstanding little restaurant. This is a perfect alternative if you fancy a break from Italian food. The options are fresh and really tasty and, compared to other meals we had had in Rome, the prices are good. Authentic Vietnamese food with good drinking options. Well worth a try.

Was excited to eat Vietnamese (my favorite food) after being in Italy for a week only eating heavy pastas. I thought the food was just ok and that was the predominate feeling from our table of 8. Nothing is like the food in Vietnam but NuNu’s food wasn’t quite at par with what we can get in the states. The service had quite a bit to be desired. I get we were a table of 8 and large tables are challenging but our waiter would take a couple of orders and then disappear. Folks at our table thought they had been forgotten. Once we got our food (all at different times), and needed anything additional such as another drink, the waiter seemed reluctant to service. All-in-all we did not feel welcome. Would not go back.

A wonderful little restaurant near the train station. Well-prepared Vietnamese food in a welcoming atmosphere. A nice alternative to Italian food for those want something a bit different.
