The cuisine here is exceptional—not to mention the service by Adriano, Nadia, and Rajon. This is the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in Italy—where I lived for many years—in the past decade and a half. In fact, I ate dinner here two nights in a row, something I have never done before.

This is a solid choice if your hotel is nearby. Service was a little slow at first, but then the pace was fine. Food is good, but not great. I ordered the beef carpaccio Antipasti and it was enough for 4 people. So check the sizes before ordering.

Our favorite restaurant in Venice. The staff was so welcoming and fun. The food was amazing. Get the calamari and bruschetta!!! We came here on our first night in Venice based on a recommendation from our host. After traveling a few days in Venice and going to other places to eat, we found ourselves coming back a second time to this little slice of heaven to end our trip. If you want great food and great service look no further.

What a terrific find! We went under recommendation of the AC Hotel. Kamal and Martina were exceptional. The food was perfectly priced and so was the wine. What a delicious meal. We will go back. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant and the AC hotel.

Whilst the food was good (although the specials were expensive for what they were - make sure you ask the price!) the experience was marred slightly by the fact despite being sent an email to reconfirm the booking an hour before the reservation time, to which I responded with the confirmation, and the fact I made them aware of the reservation on arrival, when it came to getting the bill there was an attempt to say that they weren't taking The Fork bookings that night. That said, Raj the waiter did verify that my booking existed and did then honour the discount quoted on The Fork, but it did taint our experience. So just double check on arrival all is as you are expecting it to be to avoid something similar.

The food was very good. My only thought is that the wine was rather expensive. 7 euros for a glass of house wine is rather high . Food was delicious.

We arrived late in the evening to Venice after a day of skiing in the Dolomites. We all wanted a casual but good dinner and Osteria ae Cravate was perfect! We felt welcome immediately and the quirky decor was a lovely talking point. Fabulous choice of food available from a varied menu. Four of us all ordered different dishes and all dishes were excellent. The beef steak was cooked to perfection. My sea bass was also 10/10. We would highly recommend this superb restaurant!

Family dinner with a "the fork" summer discount. The food and service was great. We selected the specials and quality vs price was superb. This restaurant is above the standard in Venice. We had a fun and great evening and the staff did their best to give us a great time. The food was of the best we enjoyed in Italy

The staff were very friendly, food was good, nice outdoor seating area. Much more expensive than other Italian restaurants we’ve eaten at (and we live in Italy) but I guess it’s because of how touristy Venice is.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I booked a table for 2 via The Fork app which showed my booking would have a 50% discount. All good so far. However, upon arrival at the restaurant, the waiter was extremely disgruntled that we had booked through The Fork (he said so, "I don't like bookings with The Fork"). The issue for the restaurant from the offset it seemed, was the 50% discount. He advised us that he wouldn't honour it and would only apply a 30% discount. When challenged, he couldn't give us a good reason. Another waiter came to try to explain that it would only be 30% discount & when I asked to meet in the middle at 40% discount he agreed. We ordered our food & waited for ages for it. When it arrived it was very average indeed (the 1/2 lobster served with tagliatelle, had less than 2 forkfuls of meat in it. It appeared as though some had been removed). Perhaps our experience had already been tainted? Meanwhile the rude & argumentative waiter had turned on the charm with another table of guests & offered them free aperitive drinks and nibbles (Americans who are known for generous tipping - a coincidence? I think not) - he also announced to them that he was the restaurant manager (earlier he'd told us he was "just a simple waiter who couldn't do anything about the discount". When the bill arrived we found only one main meal had been awarded the 40% discount so we yet again had to challenge the waiter. Finally after an exhausting discussion, he reluctantly awarded 40% discount to our one starter & 2 main courses. My goodness, what a battle we had! I just want to inform other potential customers to this restaurant that if you have booked via The Fork & you are expecting them to honour the discount then stand your ground otherwise this highly unprofessional place will walk all over you. It's absolutely the worst place we've eaten at in Venice. It was so disappointing. If I could award zero points out of ten, then I would. I advise that you spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
