We had the best Bisteca in Venice!!!!! Yes steak! We had read a year ago about the Ca Dolfin and surprisingly everyone mentioned the Steak. We had made reservations for 7 30 and arrived early. The staff were so polite and so attentive to everyone! We started with a seafood appetizer that was large and plentiful for 2 people to share. Our next course was our steak cooked to Perfection! So tender and juicy! A must when in Venice! We suggest making reservations. We will be back!

Great service and food. That may have been the best pizza I’ve ever had. Thin thin crust but it all hung together. Delish! And the carbonara was equally good. Go!

Regular visitors when in Venice. They make us very welcome and remember us in spite of the number of visitors they must have throughout the year. Great menu, reasonable prices. Always a joy. Congratulations to Nadir and the team - great customer relations.

Lovely place to sit in for dinner. The waiters were attentive and charming but repeatedly offered us expensive alternatives to our expressed choices - with discounts, but still more than we wanted to pay. This became a little annoying. The food was fine, my grilled salmon was a little overcooked but fresh and tasty and my girlfriend's escalope had a very good mushroom sauce. The grilled veg was a bit uninspiring.

A return visit, having had them on our list of favourites for some years. Some new staff but we are still made to feel welcome and remembered by those still there. Bresaola was tasty, and the pasta starter (lasagne) was perfect. Veal for the main course (lemon and mushrooms) cooked to perfection. Lugana as an accompanying wine is to be recommended - go for the more expensive one on the excellent wine list. Will be returning several times during our stay in Venice. Very reasonable price compared with comparable restaurants in England.

The pizza at Dolfin is reliably good. It is our go-to place for pizza. Service is warm and friendly. It's just a great place to go when you don't want to cook at home.
