The restaurant had confirmed our booking for a birthday dinner (for 2) but had a private function. They sat us next to (less than 1.5m) the WC in their Annexe. The food was good but not the menu on the website, and the staff were friendly but didn’t even apologise for mix up. The toilet smelled affecting the experience. I did mention this to the lady who seated us and who we paid our bill to (the only moments my other half who’s birthday it was wasn’t present.
