5/10Disappointing after reading reviews expected more. Food okay, not outstanding at all. When we were done and asked for the check we were told we had to pay in cash or travelers checks despite the credit card symbols in the window and were directed to a cash machine at a shop next door. It was our last night in Amsterdam, so we pooled what was left of our cash, but that did not seem proper at all.

8/10Small restaurant with one chef and one waiter. Quality of the meat(lamb skewers and chicken) and the smoked aubergine starter was excellent. Waiter was very helpful. Card machine had packed up so a quick trip to a cash machine was needed. Fixtures and fittings a bit on the cheap and cheerful side. Good restaurant for a hungry tourist in need of good food.

7.5/10This small restaurant serves good food and has very friendly staff. The lamb cutlets are delicious. We chose rice instead of french fries, and that was a good choice as the rice is very delicately spiced. The music was a bit too loud and the ambience is a bit basic.

7.5/10We had never tried Syrian food, but love Lebanese food. Looking at the reviews we decided to give it a try. In short, the food is very nice, but the decoration and set up of the restaurant not what you would expect from a nice evening out in a restaurant. At best you would call this quaint.

10/10We traveled few countries in the last three weeks , by far this is one of the best meal we had , they have the most authentic Middle East food you can image , fresh and delicious! Service is great , definitely will go back when we visit Amsterdam again !

9.5/10Authentic Syrian food. The smoked freaky with grilled lamb was amazing. The salads are all good, but the mix mezze for 2 is too small for the price. All in all, very recommended

10/10We had a wonderful birthday meal here, with very warm staff who provided a complimentary dessert and canals! We loved the food, and that it was fairly priced. It was our first time trying Syrian and we will be back! While the food was great, the staff and service are especially stellar.

9.5/10This restaurant is a gem! The quality of the food was superb and so delicious. For dessert, we tried "halaoa el jabneh" for the first time (a Syrian sweet cheese infused with rose water and topped with pistachios) and were stunned by its wonderful taste. We will certainly go again and I've already told friends to go as well!
