9/10This restaurant is now my new favourite place to go for Indian food. Taste was great with exceptional service. Additionally, the restaurant is the central location and ambience is amazing.

8/10It's an upmarket Indian restaurant. The food is good, but we didn't feel it was forth the price difference with a good indian restaurant. The service was slow at first: had to ask for the food menu, the drinks took time to arrive. The atmosphere is very nice though, good light, romantic and classy. All in all a good experience but again not worth the price

8/10Nice restaurant with a great vibe. Excellent service, great cocktails. We ordered the vegetarian combo and found that the dishes all tasted more or less the same whereas we were expecting more flavor differentiation. Perhaps this wasn’t the best choice. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by friends so we may give it another try if we return to Amsterdam.

10/10Our favorite Indian restaurant in the world! We travel a lot and always seek out an Indian restaurant wherever we go. We use Asoka food as a guide and nothing has come close to how good Ashoka curries. Service and ambience are top notch as well. Highly recommend when you are in Amsterdam to give it a try. Even if you thought you don’t like Indian, this place will convert you to an Indian food lover!

8/10The food was incredible. Best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in. The only negative note is that the restaurant has a chic atmosphere, but it's a pity that at the end of the evening when you're having coffee, you're faced with the wait staff cleaning the tablecloths on the floor and sorting out the room and the leftover garbage. What's more, when you leave, there's no farewell or thank-you from either the staff or the manager.

5/10Very small portions for what we paid. Asked for extra rice as we only received one small bowl but was told as the rice was included within the price we couldn't order more. Table next to us received 2 large bowls of rice? Charged for water we didn't order. When we questioned this they just kept saying that is the price, that is the price. Won't be going back.
