It is not always easy to find the a restaurant that can be amazing in all three areas: food, service, and ambience. Out experience at Ponte Pietra was perfect in all three areas. Very friendly and helpful service. For ambience, we were able to sit outside so we could hear the babbling of the Adige river under the Ponte Pietra throughout our meal. Finally, the food was spectacular. We had the pappardella pasta with guinea fowl, morels, and kumquat. We also had smoked Iberian sucking pig, and seabass with black cabbage. All were cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. Very interesting flavor combinations. Finally, for dessert we had the creme brulee sage and lemon. Who could ever imagine this combination? It worked perfectly. A life changing experience.

Really well executed food, lovely setting inside and out. Service, though prompt, was very dry and somewhat sucked the life out of the experience.

+3We had a delicious meal , we reserved for New Year’s Eve, the restaurant had a set menu which was very good. The taste was delicious and the preparation excellent!! If I go back to Verona a definite stop to eat.🥂

What an incredible place! Food was EXCEPTIONAL, service INCREDIBLE, views of ponte pietra SPECTACULAR. Our server was just amazing—great recommendations for wine pairings. Setting was intimate on terrace. Cannot think of a better way to cap off our time in Verona.

We chose Ponte Pietra with high expectations, drawn by its Michelin star and beautiful riverside location. The view from the balcony was indeed lovely, but the dining experience fell far short of what one would expect at this level. The main dish was unevenly cooked, and the quality of the meat disappointing compared to even modest trattorias we had visited in Italy. The tiramisu, a dessert we had looked forward to, was sadly the worst we tasted during our trip. More disheartening than the food, however, was the service. At the beginning we were told we could enjoy our table until closing, yet even before dessert arrived, the bill was placed on the table and we were asked to leave within ten minutes, despite the restaurant being far from full. This abruptness left us feeling rushed and unwelcome, which is the opposite of the warmth and care we experienced elsewhere in Italy. Overall, the evening was a disappointment, especially given the restaurant’s reputation.

The second time for me at this wonderful restaurant. The first was with a crowd of girls when it was hammering down with rain outside. A great evening. This lost time was with my husband, it was a glorious evening and we were able to sit on the romantic little tables overlooking the river. The roar of the river drowned out other conversations although we could hear each other perfectly. Leonardo, the matrix, recommended us a fabulous bottle of wine that was one of the cheapest on the menu which was impressive. The food was divine, the service excellent. The price was reflective of the quality-so expensive, but worth it.

I eat at Ponte Pietra every time I visit Verona. Consistently excellent.

Wonderful venue and food. The perfect place to spend my husbands birthday celebration. I would however avoid letting the waiter choose your wine without checking the price first. Just a word of warning.

We are visiting this place every summer when attending Verona opera festival. Great food, perfect location and always very welcoming staff.

The staff were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived, even though we were early nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing

Good was delicious and sublime, air conditioner was broken and they seemed a tad short handed but it was delicious!

The food and atmosphere were good but the reception at first wasn't that present. They need to improve it.

We had dinner here on our second night in Verona and it was superb. The food was excellent and some of the best we have had for a while. My wife had fish and I had the Iberico pork wellington, very tasty. The restaurant is very cosy and had a charming feel to it. The staff were great, unfortunately they made a mistake with our wine, they served it to another table but they informed us straight way and gave us another bottle of excellent Soave on the house. Would highly recommend.

The uniquely quaint ambience of each room, the view of the Adige River, the friendly & warm service and of course the food make Ponte Pietra one of our favorite restaurants in Verona!

The experience was amazing overall! We were in two, we had a second dish, a glass of wine and a dessert each and spent 120€ in total. The food and the ambience were definitely something special. Although so special, I personally think the price might have been slightly lower and I noticed some sort of strange reluctance on using TheFork to accept the payment. Very small notes compared to how warm and peculiar the place is and how remarkable the execution of the dishes!
