10/10A lovely little restaurant. It was very near our hotel and in a quiet location . The food was excellent, the best meal we’ve had since we arrived. If I was staying again it would be a place I would revisit.

9.5/10Recommended by the hotel, we were very pleased with ambiance, food and wine. The owner gave us recommendations which we followed, grilled octopus and pork cheeks. The only disappointment was a long wait for the check.

9.5/10This is a fine restaurant. The young servers were efficient and friendly. The food was very good. I enjoyed their Quermesse salad very much, a citrus based vinaigrette with greens, mint, sliced carrots and oranges on top of quinoa. The grilled squid on top of squid ink blackened rice was generous and delicious. The panna cotta was ok but a bit overpriced at 7.95 euros. I look forward to a second visit with a friend in a few days.

10/10The restaurant was quite informal and the waiters very attentive. The dishes available were all unfamiliar to me which added to the enjoyment of the evening. All three of us were pleased with our menu choices.

8.5/10We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel as it was one of very few open on Sundays. It was surprisingly good, casual and friendly. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

10/10The service is great with very friendly staff. The food is amazing. Amazing and deep flavors, well balanced and strong combinations. The chef came personally to the tables to see how the guests are doing Will definitely come back

8/10We were the first to arrive for dinner at 7 pm (reserved the first time slot as the restaurant opened). Very friendly greeting. Were advised that there was fresh tuna (all other fish and seafood are frozen). Opted for a shared hummus starter: with a few veggies (carrot and celery sticks, olives and a few slices of homemade olive bread). Very good but ordered an extra serving of bread which was charged (1.25 euros for 3 slices). Then shared the dish of pork cheeks which was delicious and a big portion but, unfortunately, lukewarm. We overheard that the restaurant has changed hands and the menu is new so previous reviews may be misleading.

10/10My fourth dinner in Lisbon, and by far the best (and I have been perfectly happy with all of the other meals). Staff were kind and accommodating (even though half our party got lost on the way and were half an hour late), the menu diverse (with something for most any mood), and every dish excellent. My only suggestion to future diners is consider sharing the lasagna... it is delicious but substantial.

10/10We arrived at our hotel late and wandered the neighborhood for a place to have a meal after a long train trip. We liked the look of Quermesse and the menu. I had polvo a lagareiro with batatas murros: octopus roasted in a hot oven with whole small potatoes. The boiled are boiled to slightly soften them and then are smashed to just break the peel. The polvo and potatoes are roasted together in the oven with cherry tomatoes and asparagus with lots of olive oil and cloves of garlic . The potatoes soak up the oil and the roasted garlic is for squeezing over the dish at table. The polvo was tender but firm to the tooth. Delicious. My wife had a grilled tuna steak. It was seared well but rare and rich in the middle. It was served over stir fried cabbage. An interesting and enjoyable meal. The wine selection satisfied us. The price was reasonable. The chef served each dish personally. The pair of servers were friendly, professional, attentive, and handled the 20 or so tables efficiently. We liked so well we returned for a second time. The menu includes Portugues traditional meals and several riffs on Italian dishes like seafood lasagna. Worth a visit.

10/10Food quality was excellent and each item we had was delicious. One of the best “Seafood Cream” soups (like a bisque) we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the veal and seafood lasagna. Generous portions; great value for the price. All our servers were pleasant and welcoming (and spoke English.)

5.5/10This was SO disappointing!! When we arrived and were seated in a charming section of the restaurant, I was pleased...but our table turned out to be right in the path of dishes going back and forth to the kitchen. We were alone in that area and forgotten. It took forever to get our aperitifs and the dinner almost immediately arrived and it didn't go with my drinks. Although my partner really liked his dish, mine was simply okay. When I shared my displeasure with the owner, he was quite snarky. Actually, the fellow bussing out table was more concerned with the quality of our experience than the owner was. It appears to be a "cool" welcoming place, but that was not my experience at all.
