10/10Caramba has long been a complete favourite for both large groups and smaller ones. It is exactly the ambience and service one desires, and the cuisine is excellent.

8/10Nice outdoor seating available, very nice in summer. Food options limited to tacos, nachos and quesadilla. Tacos are delicious, fair price too. Service could improve a lot, rather slow and all over the place forgetting order and long wait.

7/10We reserved here based on the reviews on The Fork and for the first time we were disappointed. Our disappointment was mainly fueled by two things. Firstly, though we did like the overall taste of the dishes, we couldn't help but feel that the restaurant is economizing on the main ingredients: they were not bad but we had definitely had better. Secondly we were charged prizes that were 20% higher than in the menu on The Fork, but worse, even 10% higher than on their own Web site. I understand that prizes sometimes need to be raised, but I think it is bad practice to not make certain that at least their own web site has the correct prizes. The combination of these two criticisms has made me decide to leave this review, completely contrary to my conviction to not leave negative reviews.

10/10This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. Our drinks and food were delicious and arrived quickly. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

9.5/10La Caramba is for us and our friends a regular gathering delight. The cuisine is excellent as is also Lucia. Saturday evenings may be crowded and too noisy but still we had a good time.

7/10The service was really good, all the staff were very nice but the food was not disappointing but also not incredible. It had a nice homemade, rustic feel to it, but due to that didn’t really feel worth the money we paid… Overall the whole experience was incredible and we had a great time but I maybe alter my expectations before going again.
