Grand Hotel Pietro looks down on the Ionian Sea at Taormina. The restoranti is mostly used by hotel guests. They kept asking us for our room number. But The Fork gave it a high recommendation so we made our way past the ostentious front desk down the elevator to the restoranti. We were met with superb, friendly service and the best food we’ve had in Sicily. It is expensive. $430 Cdn for lunch with a bottle of excellent wine. Go to this place if you want to treat yourself. It is top shelf.

Dear Bill, we are happy that you appreciated our location with tables overlooking the sea on the bay of Taormina, here the full moon is reflected on the water creating an almost surreal panorama. The restaurant has a large car park with direct access to the restaurant, our guests can freely leave the car after dinner even for a short walk on the Corso after dinner. All the staff thanks you for your compliments on the service, elegant, discreet and precise with a cellar that boasts more than 450 labels, with great importance on Etna and the most important areas of Italy, a small look abroad with greater interest on France. Our Chef Luca Miuccio, Ambassador of Taste, loves vegetables, so much so that he has developed a new menu where protein serves as a side dish. His dishes are connected to memories, the Golden Fish is one of the dishes that most demonstrates the love for cooking and attention to the territory We can't wait to have you for dinner again. L.B.

Dear, we are happy that you chose Il Giardino degli Ulivi as a destination for your dinner, in addition to the large car park and one of the most beautiful sea views of Taormina, we also offer the possibility of parking for free and using our shuttle to reach the city center for free totally free, a service that we give to all our guests even if they are not staying. If you are in the center of Taormina and you don't have a car we can pick you up at Porta Messina near the taxi stop, a service that very few offer. Our international cuisine with notes of territoriality is our pride, with great service, attentive and never intrusive. We hope to see you again for dinner. Thank you

Wonderful experience in a beautiful hotel garden with breathtaking views. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner, we were dining as a party of nine people in various ages and everyone was very happy about the food and service. We knew the hotel held a higher price range than restaurants outside in Taormina but one thing I have to mention is the price of the fresh fish, even though it was very good it was definitely not worth the price, we did not ask before ordering and we definitely should have. (The price was outrageous) Order something from the menu and you’ll leave happy and have a wonderful time at this beautiful place! I’ll be back but order from the printed menu😊

We are happy that you appreciated the place but above all that the Maître was able to find you a table in the front row overlooking the bay of Giardini Naxos, where it is possible to touch the Isola Bella and the Grotta dell'amore. The Maître d' and all the restaurant staff thank you for your kind words, and are happy that you received the right welcome and the right service, fulfilling all your requests.
