9.5/10Initial impression was one of staff on sidewalk trying to lure you into their little establishment. The reviews were solid and as we were awaiting the wife of one my copilots arriving via train at the Termini nearby we engaged. We had noted 4.5 star rating and a rooftop seating area. Unfortunately rain was in the area so we chose streetside w heaters vs indoor dining. The staff was in a word, delightful! They were attentive and lively. We laughed and shared exchanges as if we were long time valued customers. We ate the grilled squid entree as an appetizer, delicious! We had three different sizeable pastas plates of perfection. And finished w pears and dates baked in red wine sauce, brilliant. This gem is very near our newish airline layover and I will be going back. Capt. D

10/10The first time I went to this restaurant was 25 years ago. Tonight I brought a group of friends with me and we had a marvelous time. The waiter gave us suggestions and I strongly encourage others to follow their recommendations. Really wonderful and the setting is so great, especially exciting for me as a Latin teacher!

10/10This small restaurant has it all! Indoor and outdoor door ambience! The staff was very engaging and efficient. Felt like an authentic Italian experience. Cacao d Peppe was a sight for the eyes and delicious!

6.5/10Food was ok, but they padded the bill. For the main dish, the water (6€) and coffee i didnt have. that cost them their tip... plus they call it a roof top garden restaurant, but you eat in the street.

3.5/10We asked for a room inside, but without our knowledge were seated in the unheated cold room designated as outside. We ordered a risotto to share followed by a lamb dish to share. Instead all food was brought out at the same time with no split portions. I ordered the roast lamb medium rare; the lamb was a strange bony cut served well done. can’t say I’ve ever had a meal with so many failures.

9.5/10This was our last day in Rome and we had ten family members trying to get a restaurant to accommodate all of us. The staff was great and the food was very good. Great choice!

8/10Nice food, nice atmosphere, staff very helpful. Wine list a little limited (not much by the glass so you have to buy full bottles if you don’t want the house wine). Can get busy here at which time staff get a little frantic but still served us well. I had the beef tail (local specialty) which had good flavour but not much meat (a bit like eating crab, lots of effort for small morsels of meat) but nice to eat a local dish other than pasta or pizza.

8.5/10Really amazing that they were so attentive to my husband’s coeliac. They still gave me a bread basket which was nice but forgot to bring over the olive oil and vinegar when asked. Apart from that they were so lovely and we would go again!

PARTICOLARE - Il ristorante Terme di Diocleziano sorge a Roma, a pochi passi da Piazza della Repubblica e dalla Stazione Termini. Come si può intuire dal nome, la struttura è situata esattamente all'interno delle antiche Terme di Diocleziano. L'atmosfera è tranquilla e molto suggestiva. ANTICA TRADIZIONE - La cucina del locale è specializzata nella preparazione di portate tipiche della tradizione romana, con specialità sia di terra sia di mare. Molto buoni i dolci fatti in casa, ottima la carta dei vini. DA NON PERDERE - Da provare senza dubbio i tonnarelli cacio e pepe, le linguine all'aragosta, i saltimbocca alla romana, la frittura mista e l'ottimo dessert al tartufo.
