The good parts: the service was excellent: friendly, helpful, warm, making the best of a disappointing meal. The views are beautiful, especially if you go up to the tenth floor, which our waiter encouraged us to do. The bad part: the food. I ordered an entrecote with Bernaise sauce. There was no sauce, and I don't think the cut was entrecote, which is normally a tender, fatty cut, and mine was good but a bit tough. Our waiter brought a replacement (good, but not Bernaise) sauce when I pointed out the lack. My wife had pasta with duck ragout, which was supposedly an orange and port (?) reduction, but was just sort of blandly salty and a bit fatty. Overall, probably the most disappointing dinner meal we've had, despite the high price. The excellent service saved the evening, but I'd grab a pizza somewhere else next time.

The food here is well worth the trip. Could have done with being a bit hotter, but the flavors were excellent. The view from the restaurant was spectacular and tgecteam even pointed us to the upper balcony, at night looking over Rome is something to be hold.
