The staff were fabulous and the food was even better! We found the atmosphere to be casual and upbeat. Royal Bergère made for a wonderful last dinner in Paris. Since we stayed on Bergère, the location was perfect after we decided to skip our last planned excursion.

The waiter did not know, or could not explain, what the dish of the day was. He had to seek help. My wife ordered conquilles st jacques, which was unevenly cooked and the centre part was cold. She complained, and it was reheated with the shell much hotter and the centre still cold. We refused the dish. Clients pay at the bar, where we were charged for it, until I protested. The bill was not altered until.the waiter had been asked to confirm it. There was no apology. Best avoided.

Restaurant refused too honor the Fork 20% reservation discount. Service was OK and food was mediocre.
