+2Il Cantuccio is a lovely little gem of a place. The food was excellent and service was attentive! We had the "tasting menu" and loved it! They were out of the Brunello (wine) that we ordered but offered a Barolo, which we had never tried before, and it was amazing! We'll be drinking Barolo again! We definitely would eat here again!

10/10In a city full of meats and pasta, Il Cantuccio is a breath of fresh air. The owner cheerfully works the entire (smallish) room with cheer and grace. I recommend ordering the fixed menu seafood sampler- it is fantastic. For us, this was the best restaurant in Bologna during our time there.

5.5/10This is a rare seafood restaurant in Bologna. We went with two elderly Italian friends. While the food and wine were of decent quality, we were shocked by the service. The wait staff ignored us for long periods. We were seated in a cramped and uncomfortable table. The staff seemed mostly to concentrate on a few tables. Our friends who are 80 + were quite offended. We won't be going back again soon.
