Lovely authentic vibe and really good cooking. Tuna and Beef were delicious, shrimps in sun-dried tomatoes were a bit bland and underwhelming. Dessert of chocolate mousse was lovely and wines were excellent. Good value too.

We had made reservations and were welcomed on arrival. Service seemed rushed and the waiter basically told us what we should order. We took his recommendations, but found the food pretty bland and, except for the shrimp, overcooked. We’d read good reviews but it didn’t measure up at all. It was our first meal out in Portugal, so maybe it’s just not our kind of cuisine.

I lived in Lisbon for the past two years and Taberna has always been my favorite restaurant in Lisbon. Highest quality for the best price ever. The tuna is mindblowing as for the shrimps.

The food is simply incredible, me and my friends were left astonished, by how good it was (the tuna and the Apple crumble dessert are crazyyy). The prices are low considering the quality of the food (20€ per persona with dessert). The service is good as well, we arrived a bit late due to the flight delay, and they were very comprensive. I would higly recomend this restaurant, is a Gem!

Very comfortable neighborhood restaurant, and family friendly. The wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us with our beginner Portuguese, but spoke fluent English. We have the delicious goat cheese, appetizer, along with a couple of very good cocktails at reasonable prices. And we shared the grilled shrimp, tuna tartare, and beef tenderloin. All of them were very tasty! we also had a bottle of crisp Alentejo white wine, and an apple crisp we shared. The total bill was €90. We would definitely go back, as it’s Portuguese food, but with a creative flare.

It's a small, local restaurant serving kind of Portuguese tapas. Plenty of seafood classics. But the portions are huge! We three were recommended to have 5-6 between us. We had 6 plates, and we couldn't finish everything. Cheerful service built a friendly atmosphere.

Every dish we tried was heavenly good! Definitely recommended! I can’t deal with the amazing taste of their shrimp sauce😍
