It's a small, local restaurant serving kind of Portuguese tapas. Plenty of seafood classics. But the portions are huge! We three were recommended to have 5-6 between us. We had 6 plates, and we couldn't finish everything. Cheerful service built a friendly atmosphere.

A really lovely place. Our table was ready when we arrived, the staff were very friendly, explained how many dishes we should order and gave recommendations. All of the food was great. The drinks were very reasonably priced too. Only thing not to make it a 10 was it was quite hard to get the staff attention at times as it was very busy. Definitely recommended.

The actual restaurant was closed for refurbishing and they sent us to Petiscaria Ideal 2 doors down. I had been to this place many years ago and remember really enjoying it. Last night was a bit different. Foodwise had some hits and misses, the Camarão Ideal was a winner, and the Prego as well, everything else was okay. Service was friendly, young waiters, sometimes less professional while talking and hanging behind the counter, but overall attentive. The atmosphere was not as I remember, place seemed a bit cold, lighting wasn't inviting - in fact above our table there were wires hanging and no ceiling lamp. Hopefully they will go back to their glory days, when everyone mentioned this place for its food quality but everyting else too!
