If you’re in Lisbon and looking for a relaxed spot with flavorful Middle Eastern inspired dishes and lots of veg-friendly choices, Yallah Lisboa is a solid pick. Go for the shared mezze plates.

There aren’t many Middle Eastern restaurants in Lisbon so it was nice to experience a different type of food but I thought it was a bit expensive for what we ate. 60€ for some dips, 4 falafels & a small bowl of fried squid…

Food was ok although overpriced for the quality and quantity. Service was not the best. We asked to be seated outside, the waitress said yes but then her colleague was fighting with her saying that the table was no longer available. At the end they seated us outside. Music was too loud. When ordering, the waitress insisted we order some additional plates. When the food came and we mixed one of the dishes, the owner came to us and asked if the dish has been served to us mixed .. it was really intrusive and strange. There was a belly dancer performing and the waiters were encouraging people to clap for her. It ruined the atmosphere and made it look forced. Not an experience to repeat. Also, the staff did not speak Portuguese which was inconvenient for my friend who did not speak English well.
