They moved us to their sister restaurant, made us wait outside and then seated us in an uncomfortable table. The food was alright, but basic and uninspired. I would not return or recommend.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at Xera. The host was welcoming and helped us select a delicious set of dishes. We particularly enjoyed the eggplant, burrata, scallops and duck. Great experience and highly recommended!

We were made to feel very welcome and as soon as we were seated the menu was explained to us. The food came very quickly and was delicious! The staff realised it was my husband’s birthday and presented his pudding with a candle-a very lovely touch! If we ever return to Barcelona, we will definitely visit this cosy, individual restaurant again!

Xera was great! Cozy and calm atmosphere. The staff were all so kind and friendly- Alejandro is the best waiter! Delicious, incredible meals. Couldn’t even pick which one I liked more! Make a reservation as it’s a small place and gets full. Will come back.

The restaurant was full and yet it didn't feel busy. It was pleasant to sit and the service was fast and correct. The food was tasty, but there are slightly better restaurants within walking distance. The biggest negative for us was the hygiene. The water glasses showed limescale stains and the wine glasses were really dirty, full of dust, probably from a dirty towel or from standing somewhere for quite some time. The dust would have simply floated on the wine. We did receive new ones immediately as soon as we reported this. There was also a piece missing from 1 glass, which could have caused injury when drinking. This was also replaced. There were also dust nets hanging from the ceiling. This can all be avoided.

A great culinary experience. A very friendly atmosphere, great service and great food. Good value for money for the quality of the food. Highly recommended. All the dishes we tried were quite tasty and different from what we had before.

The quality / price ratio is low. 4 mini tapas 2 glasses of house white wine and 1 desert for a couple was close to 80 euro. Food is ok but nothing to warm your memories.

We enjoyed Xera for the relaxed and cozy feeling and for the creative food. Our tapas and small plates were delicious- creative, thoughtful ingredients and beautiful presentation. Staff is excellent- attentive but not overly so. Will be happy to recommend to friends for a special evening out.
