It’s always a great surprise to come across one of Mr. Acurio’s restaurants. We started with two pisco sours—lime and cucumber-basil—followed by arroz meloso with duck and seafood, both truly delicious. Just one note: we also ordered “papas a la francesa” as listed on the menu, but what we got were fried potato chunks. The English translation seems a bit misleading since “French fries” usually refers to long, thin sticks, not potato pieces. Aside from that, we left with a great impression.

Yakumanka is one of my favourite restaurants in the city and a great option to visit with a partner, friends, or for a business dinner. Excellent ceviche and wine selection. Highly recommended.

The service was great. We arríved and were greeted very kindly, keeping our helmets. We ordered two Malcriadas, drinks recommended by the waitress and it was very tasty, Although, it was a little bit soft ( I would have like it to had a little more rum). We ordered two “piqueos” and a main dish for two. The wantanes that were good and Trio de ceviche. For the main dish we ordered “Pato Meloso”. The rice was really good and the duck was something new.. the meat has a strong flavor, but really good. All in all, it was really good but I think little bit too expensive. It’s a place to go for a special occasion.

We tried the menu for the Peruvian holiday and was an execptional tasting experience. Very good quality and rich mix of different dishes excellently prepared and nicely presented. An excellent culinary experience.

Very disappointed. Despite having veggie's on their menu they have nothing suitable for vegans or vegetarians. All dishes contain fish. We finished our drinks and left hungry as we were unable to eat there. Won't even go again. When will restaurants wake up the fact that a growing number of the population are vegetarian and vegan and should be catered for.
