10/10I booked this restaurant for our shared name but also for the stunning design. The service is excellent, the food is all beautifully presented and prepared, and the lunch menu is a good value for the high standard. We’ll be back next time in Paris!

9/10The restaurant overall was very good: nice ambiance and friendly service. The food was beautifully garnished, but the duck breast was a bit dry and the foie gras tasted like nothing. For this quality of the food we were surprised about the very high prices.

6/10The atmosphere is nice. You can dance after 10:30 and the interior looks nice. The food was bad. We had a duck and it was impossible to chew. The tuna was absolutelly tasteless. We left most of it. We did mention to the waiter that we didn't like the food and filled ourselves up mostly on potatoes and mushroom source, but he kind of ignored it. I don't think they are trained to deal with situations like that. They could have offered a discount or take something of the bill to show that they care, but it was not the case. The service was ok, the waiters were friendly, though they did mix the main with the starters, which was ok and not a big deal for us. It was more that it'd be good to see that they care for our experience more. We clearly didn't like the food. They did not really care about it. It is probably a fun place to go to hang out but not to eat.

2/10My very pricey beef fillet was very tough and undercooked. I sent it back and the new piece was even tougher. I was not able to eat it but no one even asked me why it was left on my plate. The live music and dancing upstairs was also too loud. I wish I had known about it beforehand but only saw the flyer after our group of 4 sat down. I enjoyed a nice meal there a few years ago and the space is beautiful but will NEVER return. Stay away.

7/10The food was very good, as was the service. The room is very modern and comfortable. But the noise level at dinner time is totally unacceptable and is the reason I gave a low rating. It's impossible to have a conversation in a normal voice at dinner time, although at lunch the ambiance is more calm and makes dining more enjoyable.

2/10Very bad experience! We only had one night in Paris, we turned up to our 10:30pm reservation and was told to stand and wait. 12pm came around and still no seat, we was given a glass of free champagne to make up for it to be told there wasn’t a table for us downstairs after all of that! We had booked the €75 deal and was placed upstairs were that cannot be obtained. We decided as we was hungry to order anyway and then half of the stuff wasn’t available. Awful service and ruined our only night in Paris. We left at 12:30 without any food when we should have been enjoying our night! They had fully overbooked. A lot of people in the same situation.

5.5/10The food was ok. No side plates to eat your bread from. Allergies not taken seriously. Service was very slow. When trying to have our order taken, waiters (yes multiple) needed to be reminded to take everyone’s order, not just 1 person out of the group. It was very expensive, we left before dessert as it was just too slow.

About the restaurant
HISTORY - Jeu de Paume in the 17th century transformed a century later into a press, then into a famous cabaret, Alcazar is rich in history! Taken over in 1998 by Sir Terence Conran, an ace of design, the place was transformed into a contemporary brasserie and bar-lounge. The loft design, the canopy of 12 meters in height and the neat decor create a trendy and cozy atmosphere.
BACK TO BASICS - in the kitchen, the chef Guillaume Lutard and his team work furiously to serve you dishes borrowed from tradition and forgotten flavors enhanced with a hint of originality.
