The food was mediocre at best with one dish horrible. It was white asparagus season so I ordered this with high expectations only to receive tough, woody asparagus that I couldn’t really even cut with my knife. I didn’t eat it and the server said nothing. I chose to let it go not up for a long discussion but it was inedible. The sole selected by two of my dinner mates was ok, but really rather mediocre. I expected more.

After flying all night and staying up once we got here, our dinner was a wonderful way to end our day and begin our trip to Amsterdam. The service was excellent, the atmosphere lovely and the food was delicious.

It's a really nice place, seems to be mostly foreign clientele, interesting art, good food and super friendly service. We only had a main course so difficult to fully rate it. The fish was delicious.
