Centro has 2 very different menus. Their brunch menus seems "Americanized" while their dinner menu features much more typically Italian items. The location (less than 5 minutes from Termini station) was ideal for our itinerary. Everyone's tastes vary but I suggest avoiding the fried pizza if ordering from the brunch menu; it's just a fried ball of dough topped with some tomato sauce and a little bit of cheese.

We were a little early for normal dinner hours, so not everything was available. No problem, as everyone was kind and attentive. What we did get was excellent. Meatballs as an appetizer. Skirt steak for my husband. And grilled aubergine for me -- surprisingly filling. A quick glass of prosecco, and we were satisfied.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was rather limited when we visited due to a technical issue in the kitchen, which meant they apparently couldn't fry anything. The meatball starter was tasty but luke warm, and the clam spaghetti was bland.

Centro was a small restaurant in Rome not far from the train station and our hotel. It was a pleasant bistro type atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good and well priced.

Beautiful and tasty surprise! First time for me I visited this restaurant: good atmosphere both for business and family, the food was excellent and the service fast and particularly polite. The preparation of the different courses was accurate and pleasant to see as well as to eat. Great experience, I'll come back soon!

Def not a traditional Italian restaurant, even though it serves some of the Roman classics. But everything was very well executed with fresh ingredients and super tasty. The service is second to none and the bar very well stocked with a talented bar man. We enjoyed our evening very much.

On a Sunday you will see a bistrot all'italienne. Noisy, packed and everyone munching their grub. This experience alone honored my booking. The food was not so earth shattering but okay.
