Bono Bottega Nostrana was delicious - we started with a Caesar salad, then per our waiter's suggestion got our carbonara and our bolognese on their gnocchi, which was a great call. It was the lightest, most perfect gnocchi I have ever eaten! We split the oxtail stew as our secondi, which was perfectly cooked and very tender and flavorful. And of course we had to finish with tiramisu, which was awesome. Again our waiter was expert at guiding us through the menu. The atmosphere was casual, but very clean. Would highly recommend!

Food was excellent but service was very poor. Restaurant looked understaffed and had to wait a long time to be served. Front doors were also wide open and was cold as a result. Restaurant doesn’t seem to know what it is, a cafe, deli, bar or restaurant

Super Slow Service No where near the rating it has on TripAdvisor. The service was exceptionally slow. The waiter didn’t speak a word of English, When asked if the Bono Chicken (their signature dish) was a chicken breast he said “no”, was it a chicken thigh…”no”….”just regular chicken”. ?!? Tables are small and cramped, food is so, so. We would not return FWIW.

Our waiter was so amazing and attentive! He was patient explaining the menu , wine, and beer. Food was great! Service and ambience was top notch!

Starter was good and served quickly which was good. Took 50 mins for the main course to be served…..with no explanation - waiter was not friendly and came across as really arrogant hence the first time ever I have not left a tip.

Lasagna was only 25% warm. The remainder was cold. Server went missing for 45 minutes. Food was delicious but service was lacking.

Had dinner here and the food just wasn’t very good. The carbonara was not well prepared. Not sure why this place receives great reviews on TripAdvisor for the food?

Very accommodating small restaurant for 20 people. The servers were great and the food was delicious!

The images on their google page are misleading, products are not available for consumption from the counters at the tables because its apparently 2 separate businesses operating within one location. Caesar salad was like eating a salt-lick, TOO salty. Pinsa pizza was very good. They pushed the wine menu at lunch and looked utterly upset when we didnt order wine in 90* heat for lunch. We ended up having to go to get sandwiches at another location to satisfy the remaining members who werent able to get a satisfactory meal there.

It was honestly one of the best meals I had (and not just in Rome). I wish I had more room for another meal!

Food was very good but service was indifferent. So Euro2 ppl charge want warranted. Hadn't got the wine we wanted. Quiet - we were dining early - so no ambience.
