We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Da Giacomo al Lago. The view of the lake is fantastic. The service was great and the food was delicious. I would go back there again.

Great fresh seafood, amazing ambiance and views. Superb menu. Service with a smile (just be patient). We loved it! Oysters were so fresh and flavorful. Best Spaghetti allá vongole so far in this trip. Decent prices, of course it is not cheap.

Go for the ambiance and the ambiance ONLY. I have NEVER had such outwardly rude and terrible service. Our family was treated so poorly by our waiter from the moment we walked in. It took them 45 minutes to even take our drink order, and once we told them we were not ordering the fish of the day they try to push on you he never came back to take our order. We ended up leaving after appetizers because the service was so poor, and the apps we not good despite being around 40 euro each. Unless getting drinks, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to feel degraded and ripped off.

The location is iconic and the staff was plentiful and attentive. The drinks were really good. The food, however, was not well-executed and perhaps even a bit 'ten years ago'. It was our most expensive meal that week in Como area by nearly 100%. Too bad!
