7/10We wanted to like Mistral so much more than we did! First, the good. The servers are so attentive. They do their jobs very well. And they’re kind, friendly , and approachable. And the rest…The tasting menu was expensive and should have been out of this world- given the location and clientele. But instead it was just good. Like a nice upscale restaurant anywhere.. nice but unremarkable. The wine pairings were also unremarkable unfortunately… we couldn’t find a great one in the mix. And the dessert was just good too. Not bad by any means… but still unremarkable. And the backdrop was disappointing— the lights are turned on too high so you cannot see outside to the lake.

10/10The best restaurant on the peninsula by far. Not for the value but for the taste, the service, ambience and people watching. My entree was HARE-so unique so delicious. The venue was full and the service never challenged.

10/10Both the service and food were outstanding - every course. We went a la carte, but made some great choices. The liquid nitrogen ice cream was unlike any experience we’ve ever had. Filming it was a must. It turned a lot of heads in the restaurant.

6/10Food is really underwhelming. They try hard to impress but nothing really tasted great. Also doing lamb brains as one of the lamb preparations is just unnecessary. It didn’t taste good and is just a weird dish to serve. Table service was very mixed. Didn’t offer us to drinks on time we sat there with empty glasses for like 15 mins. The entire dinner our table was full of bread crumbs and other stuff they didn’t clean. All of this was 700 euros and not worth it

10/10The food and service was spectacular. We had the spaghetti with lobster and it was so delicious! The wine selection was great! We had a bottle of 2004 Cannubi Barolo and it did not disappoint!

5/10+3I wonder how this restaurant holds its rating. Waste of money. We had the degustation menu none of the serving will impress and the ambience is cold even in this stunning venue.

10/10My wife and I were celebrating our 25 years of marriage in Lake Como and selected Mistral for our anniversary dinner. Initially we were coldly received by Omar, the maitre d’, who escorted us to a less than favorable table. But once seated the wait staff was incredible, they were charming, attentive and helpful. Hector and Igor created a memorable evening and wonderful experience for my wife and me. The food is amazing and the location superb

4.5/10The tasting menu was incredibly disappointing and extremely overpriced. It was an outdated menu that seemed to be guessing at what Americans view as gourmet rather than preparing quality tasty food. Do not order the tasting menu.

10/10We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at this restaurant! The 7-course meal was a culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Each course was expertly crafted, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The location added to the charm, providing a picturesque backdrop to the exquisite meal. The restaurant is located in a wonderful place, which is the most popular place in Como Lake. A true gem for any food lover seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure. Highly recommended!
