10/10The wife’s 50th birthday and the service ambience went in at 730 left at 1030 absolutely brilliant The chef and owner Nicola gave us everything for a meal to never forget When we go back to Matera will be on the revisit list Grazie mille

10/10It was my wife bday and we wanted to sit in the terrace. But was let down by another restaurant 😕 due to the weather they said we could not. We was accepted here and had a lovely evening. Just a disappointment to my wife for not having the beautiful scenery while dinning

10/10This restaurant was absolutely fabulous. One of the loveliest dining experiences you could possibly have. The food is creative, artistic and tastes like heaven. Everything was incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. The owners cook and serve the food and take the time to speak to the clientele. They are wonderful people and I wish I lived much closer so that I could come back on a regular basis. Truly exceptional.

8/10This restaurant’s dishes are more exciting conceptually than they are in practice. We got the middle range tasting menu (« feelings », 5 courses). The presentation of the amuse bouches was playful, though did not necessarily feel very connected to the overall vibe of the restaurant. All three were good, the liver and chocolate one being a standout. I did not much enjoy the first cours, a fried ball of potato and shrimp that lacked flavor and crispiness. The presentation, which made it look like a monkey holding a mossy rock was fun but the ‘street food’ framing didn’t make much sense as it was quite a bit too bulky to eat with your hands. The second course of scallop chickpeas and goat’s milk was great, as was the bread served with local olive oil. The breadstick was over cooked, though my partner liked it. I really did not like the pasta course, but that might be the sea urchin taste which was very overpowering, my partner loved it. The fourth dish, the octopus, was very good though I think it was lacking a bit of brightness. The dessert was exceptional overall (though the filling in the millefeuille lacked flavor) and presented in a very fun way, as were the mignardises. Overall, fun experience but not pitch perfect.

10/10We had our Christmas Day lunch here and arrived at 13.30. We were greeted by a very attentive host, full of smiles and attention to detail! The chefs we could see from our table in the Kitchen preparing our food. The food is simply excellent, served uniquely, with no two plates the same. We can highly recommend it. A more expensive restaurant, but I would recommend it for a special meal or evening out. Thank you all. Happy New Year staff

4.5/10Food was decent, waitress was great but the chef only neglected our table when he came out of kitchen to chat with the 4 table of guests. We were the only non-European guests and while we were the only table in the entire restaurant for first 1.5 hour, he did not bother to greet us. The experience made us feel unwelcome and discriminated, would not recommend for foreign visitors.

5.5/10Was not impressed. Actually, nothing much even tasted good. ????. When the chef came around at the desert course I told him so: his only comment was, “Okay, bye bye”. I had to turn back the “Pasta course": BenedettoCavalier"/calamari/broccolo/lime”. The pasta was so ‘al dente’ I couldn’t get it unstuck from my teeth! They replaced it with the lobster something from the other menu, but those weren’t all that tasty. All in all, a total failure. Bye bye €110

10/10The service pampered us, the setting was refined. The set menu we chose was a fabulous interpretation of what should be typical matera cuisine. Technically well executed and innovative. The flavor profile were amazing. All of this was great value for a very modest price.

9.5/10The food was great, as well as the service. The restaurant overall could easily have a Michelin star, and it’s also (fairly) reflected on the prices. The inside design of the place is really nice, however I didn’t give full rating because it’s not in the most beautiful part of Matera. Overall highly recommend for a unique evening.
