We had a so high expectations from this place, and we were sadly disappointed. in general the place has great decor, ambience, and the staff but the food which was the main attraction was not good. It was flavorless and extremely unbalanced acidity, bitterness with the contrasting flavors and textures in the dishes. Even in one of our dishes, the chicken was raw. Three out of four dishes that we ordered were truly bad, the only good one was the pita bread with meat and cheese inside (which is very hard to ruin) even though the fool that was not good. The staff was amazing, at the end of our service we gave our feedback and desert was on the house.

Came here with my sister on a busy Sunday, and we left the place a little bit disappointed. Neither of us know anything about Egyptian food, so we were expecting to be surprised, and the food was tasty, but I think it's mostly due to the quality of the ingredients, not the originality of the dishes. Aside from the Tameya scotch egg, they weren't really mind-blowing... and some ironically lacking in seasoning! The service wasn't great either, aside from one lady waiter who saved us from a crap experience with a snobby waiter (unnecessary).
