My friend and I booked into Emozionando for our last night in Salerno .. my only regret is that we didn’t find this wonderful little restaurant earlier .. we felt welcomed from the moment we entered .. the menu ix exciting which makes it difficult to choose however Mario the owner suggested we might like to try a 4 course tasting menu adapted especially for us .. needless to say we were not disappointed .. Our waitress , Maria, was attentive and very kind .. I recommend anyone visiting Salerno should make dinner at Emozionando a must do ..

There was nothing per se wrong about this restaurant, but we struggled to understand why it was ranked as high as it is and felt a bit betrayed by the top rankings it gets. Given the price for this town, we thought that the food was quite average. Not bad, but not inspired. And we found the tiktok challenge music playing in the background a bit annoying. The overall modern feel of the place was also a bit generic.
