This has been one of my favorite places for years. Maybe it’s because it’s the busy season, but my experience wasn’t so great this time. The ravioli was awesome, as usual, but the very small pour of wine tasted a bit old and the bread was inedible. If I wanted to hurt someone, I’d use their bread. I’m not giving up, though. If I have to work in Rome again next year, I’ll return.

This is a lovely place and we’ve been here twice. The food is great and the atmosphere in and out is nice. Good wines. Reservation is recommended. Sometimes service can be a little spotty, and make sure they hear your order clearly, especially if you are not speaking Italian. But the staff is lovely, and we’ve enjoyed it!

Overbooked reservations and when we finally sat, the service was non existent. Took our order and then the servers never returned. OK food and sitting outside among the other patrons waiting for tables took away from any enjoyment

We went to Piccolo Arancio for lunch on our 2nd day in Rome and the food and service were so good that we went back for dinner on our last night in Rome. The black truffle pasta, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, parma ham & melon appetizer and salad esotica were exceptional! If you like wines, they have an extensive list and are very helpful in selecting a wine that matches the meal and your flavor profile. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Rome,
