10/10We went to Piccolo Arancio for lunch on our 2nd day in Rome and the food and service were so good that we went back for dinner on our last night in Rome. The black truffle pasta, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, parma ham & melon appetizer and salad esotica were exceptional! If you like wines, they have an extensive list and are very helpful in selecting a wine that matches the meal and your flavor profile. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Rome,

7/10We first ate here almost 20 years ago. It is still a good place but this latest meal was just ok. Started out good but after the appetizer it took over 30 minutes to get the first course and at one point a waiter asked us if we were still waiting for anything or did we want our bill. Food did come and the pasta’s were very good but the secondi I had was below average. Also the “boss” waiter was clearly having a bad day as he was screaming at other staff so the ambiance was pretty much non existent. Probably won’t go back and too bad as we have been there 7 times over the last 20 years

6/10It was crowded, tables too close together, the service was minimal, the food was forgettable. Sorry, but we won’t be back. Not up to classic Roman standards.

10/10Everything was excellent: service, food, atmosphere. Very happy with the location, so near the Trevi fountain and yet so hidden away from the crowds. Reservations are a must but it’s worth the trouble. Highly recommend this place.

9.5/10Very nice surprise. The restaurant is in the middle of the tourist area and it is not like most touristy restaurants in Rome. On the contrary, the food was excellent, the ambiance and the service were also really good and the price was very reasonable. It was really a nice surprise!!!

10/10Excellent food and service. The food is amazing, fresh, and has wonderful flavor. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We went several times just to try everything on the menu. We will return our next time in Rome-until then Piccolo Arancio! We will miss you!

10/10+3Years ago, we enjoyed a lunch here and decided to return for dinner. We made a reservation as it was Valentine’s Day. We were warmly greeted and seated. The restaurant is cozy with a lovely ambience. Our server, Francesco, was attentive and friendly. Here you pay for the basket of bread and bread sticks and it is worth it! The bread was freshly baked, crusty and delicious. I started off with a Carciofo all a Giudia (fried artichoke). My husband enjoyed the Burrata special appetizer (burrata cheese with cherry tomatoes and arugula). I chose their signature dish, the Ravioli all’arancia, which was homemade ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and topped with an orange cream sauce. It was beyond different and bursting with flavor. My husband ordered the Filetto di Manzo ai Ferri (grilled beef fillet), which was cooked perfectly medium rare along with roasted potatoes. If you are in the area of the Trevi Fountain, make it a point to come here, you will not be disappointed.
