We had eaten here before two years ago and enjoyed the food then, so I booked for two evenings while we were there this time. We had a fantastic time. The meal was good, as before, but after we had eaten, the owner took us into their cellar restaurant where they had a talented pianist playing contemporary music and many of the English people there sang along. We had two great evenings there. I will definitely book there again next time we are in Rome for the rugby!

Just a brilliant night with friends. Had to ring ahead to say would be late and no problem - our table for 6 was waiting for us. I had the Gallo Matto pizza - fabulous - friends happy with their meals too - entertainment from owners son on his accordion - we taught him magic tricks and had a hoot - after our meal went downstairs to the wine bar, complete with pianist - awesome sing a long after the rugby and the wine flowed… I’ve been here before and each time loved it and was so keen to share with our group - happy to recommend to anyone - lunch or evening meal - unique - fun - friendly - great food and good value for money

The authenticity and purity of the service and cuisine is unique. These are the most caring, genuine and trustworthy Italians. Generous and delicious meals. Too much in fact. That song and made us laugh. We loved it so much that for the two days we spent in Rome, we dined there on both days.
